Queues After clicking the List Queues button, you should see a screen similar to the one below.
Scroll through the list of queues (Item 1) and take note of the URLs in each queue. Do you notice the difference between the other page queue (listed as Page Queue) and the external sites queue (listed as Site Queue)?
When you are ready, click the Save Queue button (Item 2). The dialog box titlebar should now display the location and name of the queue file. By default it is named "queue.spi".
In most cases, there will be so many entries in the queues, that it's just impractial to list the queues in such a small text box, so SpiderMonki may tell you to open it using Wordpad. Let's go through how to do that: Open Windows Explorer, if it isn't already open and navigate to the location indicated in the titlebar (In my case, it would be C:\Program Files\SpiderMonki\Queues) Double-click on the queue.spi file. When asked what application to use, select WordPad. The contents of the file should look similar to the one below. A more detailed explanation of the format of the queue.spi file is covered later. When you are ready, go to the next page. |
